If you are like most individuals, you find yourself in a mad dash from the time you waken until the time you go to bed. People today are busy all the time and this contributes to stress, but stress can be kept under control and handled better with some planning of daily regimes as well as in life in general. Treasure the fact that is perfectly all right to say no and because of this natural inability, most individuals go overboard in trying to keep a word given to somebody. Individuals fear to say no, thinking that this may appear rude or selfish, but eventually they land in a circumstances where there is not time for doing things they want to do.

Many people lose sight of the most fundamental priorities and they over schedule themselves so much to help others, or commit to doing so many things for others that they overlook their own needs. How many times have you been so busy that you missed lunch? Do you make time to physical exercise? If this applies to you, sit down and make 2 lists. Number one, list out the things, which are most essential to you in order of priority, and the 2nd list should illustrate all your activities through out the day. Compare the two lists: Do they match up? If not, you need to make some alterations and remember to always make time for that you are.

Some methods of stress management:

Manage your money wisely: Many people are working long hours and sometimes two jobs to make ends meet. Take a long, hard, look at your financial situation – are there things that you could cut back on to ease the financial pressure you are under? If you supervise your money more judiciously, your stress level would drop and you would not have to work so hard.

Organize your office and home life better: How much time do you normally waste trying to look for a file, telephone number or something else? Take a look at it. Of course the tension that you go through as you enter a disorganized home after a long hard day at the office.

Vitamins, a daily habit: Take your vitamin pills on a regular basis particularly vitamin C and B complex, which can help you deal with stress better. Moreover, minerals can protect your physical body from the many impairments which the non-stop mental suffering that you are seeing.

Listen to music: Music has verified physical and mental health benefits. Music can take a lot of tension away from your system if you listen to some of your favorite tunes while commuting or during work, if it is permitted.

Performing breathing exercises: You could practice these any time you like wherever you are. It is a great (and proved) way of discharging stress and lowering your stress level.

View everything positively: This is a very difficult thing to do for many individuals. It is true that individuals who view things positively have lower stress levels, are happier and have negligible health problems.

These ideas may not help you grow less busy, but they will help you to deal with it all. Remember there is only one person who matters in your life and that is you, so get busy by all means, but learn to deal with the state of affairs.
